The Spruce-one of Rob Rice Homes’ most popular new-construction homes-is now move-in ready* at the local builder’s community of Steilacoom Ridge near Olympia.

One of only 10 homes still available in the first phase of Steilacoom Ridge, this highly desired downstairs master plan has 2,445 square feet with four bedrooms, three baths, and a bonus room. The Spruce offers so much of what buyers are looking for today in a floor plan and in the ideal location.

“The Spruce plan offers a refreshing use of space, gorgeous design, and quality construction which has attracted many buyers,” emphasizes Realtor Lucia Arroyo, who along with Christina Janis, represents the Best of South Sound builder at the community. “We are excited to be able to offer this home in a lovely spot across from the community pond. Those interested, should act now because it will sell quickly.”

What a Floor Plan!

Lucia says there are good reasons for the timeless popularity of the Spruce.

“Some home buyers who are looking to downsize and desire one-story living have been thrilled with our ramblers like the Juniper (1,732 sf) or the Redwood (1,942 sf). But there are other people who need a bit more space to be comfortable. The Spruce has the flexibility of a one-story home with that wonderful extra space upstairs.”

Lucia enjoys the frequent positive reactions when home buyers tour the Spruce and see its possibilities and surprises.

“The entryway with its soaring ceilings and a view of the second-floor rod-iron banister upstairs is always that first ‘pop,’ an instant ‘aha’ when buyers first walk in,” she describes. “The gorgeous kitchen island captures their attention next, and then the bright bonus room upstairs is always a huge attraction that inspires ideas for hobbies, crafting or a home office.”

Luxurious Features, Gracious Living

The kitchen in this recently completed Spruce at Steilacoom Ridge is wrapped in beech wood cabinets with the stylish “sea drift” stain. The home’s quartz kitchen counters, designer backsplash tile, and hardwood flooring complete a look that is rich, warm, and inviting.

The kitchen looks out onto an open and cheery great room that is flooded with light and is perfect for family gatherings and hosting guests. Entrance to the back patio of the home leads out onto the yard that is fully fenced and beautifully landscaped.

The home’s master bedroom suite, located on the first floor, includes a luxurious five-piece master bath and all of the stunning, but standard, features of a Rob Rice Home-upscale lighting fixtures, designer backsplash tile, and more. There are two other bedrooms (one could be a study) and another lovely bath on the main floor.

Upstairs, the extra bedroom and bath, along with the bonus room, are like a “personal suite,” a terrific space for a member of the household or to graciously lodge visiting family and guests.

“The Spruce wows many buyers with its quality and beauty,” emphasizes Lucia, who bought her own Rob Rice home 10 years ago. “Its special floor plan accommodates many different lifestyle needs.”

Don’t Miss This Fabulous Location

Sixty-five homes have sold in Steilacoom Ridge in North Lacey in the last two years.

This popular Rob Rice Homes community has a secluded rural look and is surrounded by the pines and firs of the Pacific Northwest, yet is conveniently located near the abundant shopping centers of Hawks Prairie.

Not far away are outstanding golf courses and the picturesque Billy Frank Jr. National Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. The community offers an abundance of open space and a recreational area. Just about a mile down the road, is the Regional Athletic Complex (RAC) with its trails and sports fields.

Its proximity to Joint Base Lewis-McChord and easy access to I-5 has made it a wonderful community for many active and retired military households.

Though the Spruce plan is also available in the Rob Rice Homes community of Black Lake Palisades in Tumwater and the Villages at South Hill in Puyallup, WA, the only move-in ready Spruce immediately available is at Steilacoom Ridge.

Lucia urges people who are interested in this Spruce to visit soon. The community holds an open house Friday through Monday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
