The women’s volleyball team from Saint Martin’s University lost Thursday to Concordia University – Portland at TwinStar Court in the Marcus Pavilion in Lacey. The Saints won the first game 25-16, but then dropped the next three games 19-25, 20-25, and 12-25.

Head coach Jon Killingbeck had neutral feelings on the game. “You know we came out well, as evident in the first game. Offensively we just struggled to find consistency throughout the game. Our seniors are playing well and our freshmen are doing well for being freshmen.” Senior, Rachel Gondrezick led the Saints, and match, with 13 kills and five digs. Livia Strandberg had 12 kills for the visiting Cavaliers.
