The Port of Olympia has retained Karras Consulting to help conduct a search and selection process for the new Port of Olympia Executive Director. A recruitment announcement is currently being developed and input is being sought from the community.
Just as the Port is seeking ideas from the community to shape future organizational priorities through the Vision 2050 initiative, the Commission is also seeking input on the background and qualifications of the individual who will be asked to lead it. Suggestions can be shared via an online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/V89P6JL. The survey will be available through the end of October.
The public will also have an opportunity to meet finalists during a public forum in early 2019. Additional information will be made available closer to the selection date.
