Thurston County roadwork notice: Late night and early morning drivers who use the southbound Interstate 5 exit to Maytown in Thurston County will want to plan ahead. Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will temporarily close the I-5 exit over several nights to repair deteriorated sections of roadway.

10:00 p.m. Monday, June 11, until 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12

  • Southbound I-5 approaching Maytown Road will reduce to one lane.
  • Southbound I-5 exit (#95) to Maytown Road/SR 121 will close.

10:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, until 5:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 13

  • Southbound I-5 approaching Maytown will reduce to one lane.
  • Southbound I-5 exit to Maytown Road Southwest (SR 121) will close.
  • Maytown Road Southwest on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close.

10:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, until 5:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14

  • Southbound I-5 approaching Maytown will reduce to one lane.
  • Maytown Road on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close.
