We all have our one special thing. The little treat to fix a rough day or soothe a restless soul. Sometimes it’s as simple as coffee from your favorite barista or giving in to comfort-food cravings. But when winter drags on too long, flu season hits, or you just need to recharge body, mind and soul, escape from the daily grind and visit Seven Inlets Spa.

Located inside the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Seven Inlets Spa truly has something for everyone. Opened in July 2012, they are open seven days a week and feature nearly 6,000 square feet of spa and salon space with more than a dozen technicians ready to pamper.

Spa Manager Sally Perkins was brought on while the Spa was being built and has noticed a lively increase in visitors. “We’re open to the public so you don’t have to be staying at the hotel. Come, get lunch, have a glass of wine, and get a treatment!”

With seven individual treatment rooms, named after the seven inlets of Puget Sound, and one couples room, the spa offers massage, hot stone therapy, facials, waxing, body scrubs and wraps, manicures, pedicures, haircuts, and more. Reservations are recommended though walk-in’s can occasionally find same-day availability. Perkins encourages hotel guests—especially those booking resort packages—to call the spa and sign up for services when reserving their overnight stay.

Family groups, office coworkers, bridal parties, and couples are easily accommodated. Companies have been known to reserve the entire Spa, even ordering meals catered by Little Creek’s amazing on-site restaurants, to be brought in for a full day-spa experience.

Couples massages are available any day of the week so don’t wait for birthdays, anniversaries, or Valentine’s Day. And these can be enjoyed by mom’s and daughters, life-long BFF’s, or with your beloved special someone.

Unique to the Seven Inlets Spa are custom-blended massage oils for treatment or purchase. The Cedar Wild Sage oil is a clarifying formula of sage (lymphatic system and gland stimulation), cedar (calms emotions, worry, and fear), and lavender (immune tonic which eases tension and respiratory issues).

The Wild Seagrass oil is balancing and uses Australian cajuput, rosemary, lavender, spearmint, vetiver, and calendula to provide relaxation, anti-inflammatory benefits, and total body alignment.

Don’t forget to give yourself extra time to enjoy the Spa’s amenities before and after treatment. Once belongings are safely stowed in the secure men’s or women’s locker area, enjoy the showers, sauna and eucalyptus steam room to help you unwind. Then, settle into the meditation room’s soft recliners with a cup of herbal tea or fruit-infused water and relax to the sound of the waterfall fountain until your technician is ready. Yes, people have fallen asleep…it’s totally okay.

Seven Inlets is open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

It’s easy to make comprehensive reservations online or by calling the spa’s helpful receptionists directly at 360-462-1772. The website also lists monthly specials as part of a Resort staycation or drop-in visit.
