It’s National Senior Center Month, so let’s celebrate by belonging to Senior Services for South Sound. When you become a new member of the Olympia and Lacey Senior Centers, you help provide social and recreation programs for seniors in our community.

In September, we will be giving away two $50 VISA Gift Cards to those who help our membership grow. If you become a member in September and bring in a friend to join you; OR if you are a current member and refer a new member, you and your friend will each be entered into the drawing for one of the certificates.

Established in 1973, Senior Services for South Sound offers progressive and comprehensive services for seniors. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people as they age. Senior Services offers a wide range of programs for seniors and their families include adult day care, Meals on Wheels, Senior Community Dining, Senior Transportation services, the Care Connection Caregiver Registry, social services, health programs, adult learning, and indpendent living programs.

The largest program offered by Senior Services for South Sound is the Senior Nutrition Program provided in both Mason and Thurston counties. This program alone provides over 110,000 meals each year to 2,500 individual seniors.
