We all have tried-and-true favorites. Whether the all-knowing barista we visit for our morning coffee or a local diner whose menu you’ve memorized, there is comfort in familiarity. But, there is also a thrill in trying something new. And sometimes, those new spots become instant favorites.

Little Creek Casino Resort is less than 30 minutes from Olympia but worlds away from the chores and obligations of daily life, making it a favorite “staycation” for many locals. Marketing promotions coordinator Jennifer Brines is proud that they offer “a little bit of everything on site – a spa, golf course, X-Box arcade, gaming, live weekend entertainment, an RV park and national level performers.”

Brines encourages guests to check out the casino’s large non-smoking area, Tuesday’s double-point specials for Players Club members and weekly Senior Days for players 50+. Running Monday through Wednesday, this “extremely popular” promotion earns dining credits, free play, Keno discounts and more.

Many of these games can be played in exciting, multi-player formats. Says Brines: “We offer many tournaments: blackjack, Keno, poker, pai-gow, roulette and craps. We are also having our first Bingo tournament in September with a prize pool of over $150,000.”

Want to sit down for a bit? The Island Grille is the casino’s most popular dining destination with steaks, seafood and a full bar. Overnight guests—or early risers—can enjoy a 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. breakfast special with eggs, toast, hash browns and bacon or sausage for only $4.99.

For fresh, local seafood look no further than the Squaxin Island Seafood Bar. Brines explains that there, skilled chefs “prep, season and cook your order right in front of you.” From Dungeness crab to briny oysters, Thai shrimp to crab cocktail, it’s the Pacific Northwest on a plate.

But few things top a traditional casino buffet. At the Creekside Buffet you can have it all, seven days a week, for unlimited breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. Find weekly specials and latest dining deals on the Little Creek website.
