The Crisis Clinic of Thurston & Mason Counties is a non-profit, 24-hour crisis intervention and resource referral hotline.  We are seeking volunteers for our upcoming training starting, July 7, 2017.

Phone volunteers undergo 60 hours of valuable training in understanding crisis, values & listening, problem solving skills, empowering vs. rescuing, intuition and empathy building and more. Volunteers also receive weekly training related to depression, suicide, mental health issues, domestic violence issues, chemical dependency, information & referral and self-care.

Our training is helpful both for everyday life and for building a resume, and some schools offer credit for volunteering or interning with us.

For more information about the training and to apply, please visit The Crisis Clinic’s website.

You may also contact Terrina Williams at 360-586-2888 ext. 110 or email twilliams@crisis-clinic.org for more information. Hurry seats fill up fast.
