The Thurston EDC is now accepting applications for the third Cohort of ScaleUp Thurston, a program of the Center for Business & Innovation that is designed to accelerate companies from early success to significant growth and expansion.  The 14-week experience begins May 4, 2017 and runs through August 3, 2017.  The application deadline is April 17, 2017. ScaleUp is FREE to participants of the program.

ScaleUp is designed for companies in all industries that have been in operation for two or more years, with revenues between $150,000 and $500,000 per year.  It’s a comprehensive business growth training program which includes in-person classroom training, peer engagement, and one-on-one consultation to help business owners plan and achieve their goals.  ScaleUp is presented by the Thurston EDC Center for Business & Innovation (CB&I) and funded through a contract with the U.S. Small Business Administration. The CB&I has offered three ScaleUp training cohorts since launching in 2016 and the graduates are seeing impressive results.

“Total revenues increased 30% compared to 2015 and 50% compared to 2014.  Net income increased 300% compared to 2015 and 700% compared to 2014.  We conservatively project another 50% increase in revenues for 2017.  Thanks for just offering this opportunity.”

“I’ve gained lots of insightful information and tools, and the ability to connect with likeminded individuals in the region has been really valuable.”
