Dr. Roy Heynderickx, the President of Saint Martin’s University has joined the Board of Directors at Olympia Federal Savings.
“We are excited to have Dr. Heynderickx join the Board of Directors. His background and knowledge of both the educational landscape and the local community will be a great addition to our Board,” said Lori Drummond, President and CEO of Olympia Federal.
Dr. Heynderickx has been the President of Saint Martin’s University since 2009. He holds numerous board appointments including the Association of Washington Business, the Olympia Tumwater Foundation, Thurston County Roundtable, Washington Higher Education Facilities Authority and the Seattle-based Fulcrum Foundation. He is also chair of the college presidents for the Great Northwest Athletic Conference and board chair for the Independent Colleges of Washington.
He has worked in Catholic higher education for over 35 years, and has received numerous awards over his career including the Distinguished Leader Award from the Thurston County Chamber Foundation in 2015.
Founded in 1906, Olympia Federal Savings is a Mutual Saving Bank headquartered in Olympia Washington, with eight branches to serve customers in Thurston and Mason Counties and over $590 million in assets.
