Westport Winery earned three medals from the American Wine Society’s competition held on November 2 and 3 in Costa Mesa, California. The winery’s caramel apple cider, Mercy, received a gold medal. Mercy, along with the winery’s other cider, Courage, benefits Mercy Ships. Both labels were drawn by winery co-owner Kim Roberts. Sculptures commemorating these wines were created by Beau Finley and Tyler Hansen, respectively, and are located in the winery’s 15-acre display garden.

Westport’s two raspberry wines earned silver medals. Dawn Patrol, a blend of Riesling and raspberry, benefits the James Doolittle VFW Post 3057 in Westport. The grapes in this decadent wine were harvested at Red Willow Vineyard in the Yakima Valley AVA. The sculpture commemorating this wine, located in the winery’s 9-hole executive golf course, was crafted by Tokeland artist Jeffro Uitto. Red Sky at Night, a raspberry wine with a hint of chocolate, also brought home a silver. This wine benefits Harbor Rescue. This wine’s sculpture is located in the winery’s chocolate garden. 

To date, Westport’s wines have earned over 300 awards in national and international competitions.

Family-friendly Westport Winery Garden Resort, is located on the corner of Highway 105 and South Arbor Road halfway between Aberdeen and Westport. The resort (including the restaurant, bakery, nursery and gardens) is open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Westport Winery TASTING @ Cannon Beach, is located at 255 N. Hemlock. The Oregon tasting room is open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Westport Winery was named 2011 Washington Winery to Watch by Wine Press Northwest. They have been voted Best Winery by King 5 Evening Magazine six times. They were named the Best Washington Family Business Silver Medal winners in 2012, received the Grays Harbor Environmental Stewardship Award in 2015, and were name Best Winery, Best Wine Shop, and Best Boutique Winery for 2016 by South Sound Magazine.
