The first big storm of the winter has blown in and chances are, many of us will be hunkered down at home this weekend. Take that time to browse the stories on ThurstonTalk. - Meet a Tumwater couple who take Halloween very seriously (and plan a visit to their spooky house this year.)

- Explore the Evergreen Valley Lavender Farm and pick up some thing for the yard at their Fall Plant Sale on Saturday.

- Enjoy (free) indoor fun at Capitol Theater’s Kids Club Movie on Saturday morning.
- Cheer for The Clippers or The Geoducks at the SPSCC/Evergreen women’s basketball game held at SPSCC at 4 p.m. Saturday.
- End your weekend with the enchanting sounds of Rachmaninoff’s “Vespers” (also known as “All Night Vigil”) in the Capitol Rotunda.
