Olympia Federal Savings has made recent additions and promotions to its management staff, rewarding existing staff members with new positions and hiring a new manager to fill a key vacancy created by retirement.

Melissa Kirkeby has been promoted to Lacey Branch Manager.  Melissa started over 10 years ago as an intern and has held every position within the retail branch. Melissa replaces long-time Branch Manager Michelle Lord who has moved to the downtown Olympia Branch as a Loan Officer.

Kimbril Moore has been named as Belfair Branch Manager.  Kimbrel comes to Oly Fed with over 16 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a board base of experience in retail, loans and wealth management.  Kimbrel currently serves as the President of the North Mason Rotary Club.

Kristina Ware has been promoted to Vice-President/Controller for the Association.  Kristina came to Oly Fed with over eight years of branch management/administration and accounting experience.

Carissa McElfish now serves as a Loan Servicing Manager.  She recently joined Olympia Federal, but her prior experience in the financial industry includes working extensively in loan servicing, underwriting, closing and funding for over 14 years.  

“Promoting from within and finding great industry professionals to add to our team are two of our personnel goals” said Olympia Federal Savings President and CEO, Lori Drummond.  “They are helping our organization to grow and expand our expertise and service for our customers in the region.”

Founded in 1906, Olympia Federal Savings is a Mutual Saving Bank headquartered in Olympia Washington, with eight branches to serve customers in Thurston and Mason Counties and over $590 million in assets.
