The City of Olympia requests the public’s help in choosing the designs that will decorate 10 lucky traffic boxes in east Olympia. 99 designs submitted by local artists are now on display on the City’s Facebook page at facebook.com/cityofolympia. The public may vote by browsing the designs and ‘liking’ any and all of those that they’d like to see when traveling through the eastside, or by casting a ballot in person at the Olympia Center, 222 Columbia St NW.

Voting will end at 5:00 p.m. on September 30. The designs with the most combined votes will be fabricated as vinyl wraps that will be applied to the boxes and remain in place for 2-3 years.

Winners will be announced at the City Council meeting on October 25, 2016, and wraps will be installed thereafter, weather depending.
