It’s time to secure your seats! Olympia Family Theater’s Mainstage season is filled with imagination, curiosity and discovery. This season features five productions presented in our intimate 120-seat theater, including Elephant & Piggie’s “We are in a Play!”, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Starry Messenger, Alice in Wonderland, and Fishnapped! We are proud to feature a few favorites, 1 south sound premiere and 2 world premiere originals. Each production is recommended for all ages.

The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
November 25 – December 18, 2016

A holiday play for your family featuring a multi-generational cast, a few favorite Christmas Carols, and a lot of laughs! You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! This delightful comedy is adapted from the best-selling Young Adult book, and has become a family holiday favorite.

January 27 – February 12, 2017

The story begins with Galileo as a young boy, inspired and awed by the heavens and it follows his incredible and visionary life. A magical production we hope will inspire great ideas and speak to the “Galileo” in all of us!

Alice in Wonderland

March 17 – April 2, 2017

World Premiere Adaptation!
Directed by Jen Ryle

An original adaptation by Kate Ayers of the most famous and enduring children’s classic. It is full  to the brim with whimsical charm, and unsurpassed silliness. Follow Alice down the rabbit hole through a series of progressively “curiouser and curiouser” events. 

Fishnapped!
May 12 – June 4, 2017

Help! Claire’s beloved pet goldfish has been FISHNAPPED! We can’t solve the case ourselves – you have to help us find whodunit! Join us for this musical mystery about friendship and being true to yourself. 

Thursday and Friday performances are at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday performances are matinees starting at 2:00 p.m. Our lobby opens 1 hour before the performance time. 

Pay-What-You-Can Performances: Each show has one performance where patrons can pay what they can for a ticket. For these dates there will be no online sales. Tickets can be purchased for cash or check at box office starting at noon day of show.

Advance ticket purchase is recommended for all other shows due to limited seating in the downtown Olympia theater. Tickets can be purchased online or by phone with Visa, MasterCard or American Express. Ticket prices are $19 for adults, $16 for seniors, students and military, and $13 for youth under 12. Enjoy a discount of 10% off for groups of 10 or more to any one performance.
