Luna is a 1 1/2 year old female pit. She was spayed and vaccinated in March 2016. She loves sitting for treats, walking everywhere right next to her person, cuddling on the couch, laying in the sun, squeezing under fences, chewing bones, car rides (just falls asleep), sleeping with her people, belly rubs, and head rubs. She is sometimes afraid of loud noises like motorcycles and thunder.

This smarty knows most of her obedience commands and has been working on the harder ones like ‘wait’ and ‘leave it’; but for a young girl who is still under 2, she is doing great.

Luna has been in training at Muck Creek Kennels for three weeks, she is doing very well with meeting other dogs, following commands and learning all kinds of fun things. She needs a stable/calm home to thrive and someone who will continue to challenge her mind!! If you are interested in this beautiful girl and would like to meet her at Muck Creek to take advantage of some personal training, contact an Adoption Coordinator at Adopt-A-Pet in Shelton, WA.

We have many great dogs and always need volunteers.  To see all our current dogs, visit www.adoptapet-wa.org , our Facebook at “Adopt-A-Pet of Shelton Washington” or at the shelter on Jensen Road in Shelton.
