Edward Jones Invests in the Dogs with Adopt-A-Pet Dog Food Drive

The Edward Jones offices of Shelton are holding a dog food drive for the Adopt-a-Pet dog shelter.   Unopened bags of dog food can be dropped off during the entire month of April at all four locations in town.

Adopt-A-Pet provides dog food for Mason County families facing tough financial times so their dogs do not need to go hungry.  Any brand of dog food is gladly accepted for this program.   

The dog shelter also cares for up to 25 dogs at a time and feeds a consistent diet of Nutra-Nugget Lamb and Rice for adults and Nutra-Nuggets puppy food for the babies.  Both are available at Fred Meyer.  Dogs with allergies are fed Wholesome brand gluten-free food, available at Critters Great and Small Pet Store. 

In 2015, the non-profit, all-volunteer dog shelter found loving homes for 323 unwanted, abandoned and abused dogs. Edward Jones Associates believe in sharing their time and talents to support local charitable organizations in the communities where they work.  The four participating Edward Jones financial advisor offices are:
