Families throughout the area will be smiling on Saturday mornings through the month of March. The Olympia Film Society and Captain Little are bringing the animated-classic, The Peanuts Movie, to the Historic Capitol Theater on Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m.

The Olympia Film Society is proud to team with Captain Little, Downtown Olympia’s premiere toy store, to present The Peanuts Movie.

Snoopy, Lucy, Linus and the rest of the beloved “Peanuts” gang are back, making their big-screen debut! Good Ol’ Charlie Brown, the world’s most lovable underdog, embarks upon an epic and heroic quest, while his best pal, the charismatic beagle Snoopy, takes to the skies to pursue his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron.

The Peanuts Movie sticks close to the gently comical tone of the comic strip that launched in 1950 and the TV shows from the 1960s and 70s. From the imagination of Charles M. Schulz and the creators of Ice Age and Rio, The Peanuts Movie is a treat for all ages.

Join the fun at the Historic Capitol Theater Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. Specific dates include February 13, 20 and 27.  Additional dates include March 5, 12 and 19.

Kids 12 and under get in free and adults are just $8 or $5 for Film Society members. Screenings will include raffles of Captain Little gift cards and Peanuts movie posters.

Tickets are available at the box office, open 30 minutes prior to show time. The theater is located at 206 5th Avenue SE in Downtown Olympia.
