Absolutely everyone is invited to this musical evening.

From babes in arms to family elders, everyone is welcome at Olympia Timberland Library’s 2nd Annual BiblioBall. This year’s theme is “History Hop” and it takes place Saturday, December 19 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

There will be live music by “Hot Club Sandwich,” dancing, refreshments and activities. The suggested dress code is formal wear or “fancy dress” – costumes from literature or history.

Again this year, there will be a fashion show and a vintage photo booth to show off the gorgeous attire and capture the magic moments.  Local artist Mimi Williams will create block prints for guests to color and take home. The original print will be raffled off during the evening. For children, there will be crafts and a book-character scavenger hunt.

This event, like all Timberland Regional Library events, is free, however tickets are required for entry. They can be picked up, beginning December 5, at the library’s Youth Services desk.

Snacks will be provided by the Friends of the Olympia Timberland Library and Abby’s Cupcakes. The program takes place after hours and no other library services will be available.

The Olympia Timberland Library is located at 313 8th Avenue SE. For information, contact the library at (360) 352-0595 or visit www.TRL.org.
