Citrus Zinger Infuser Bottles make great gifts for moms on the go.

Every May on the second Sunday of the month, mothers across the country are recognized for the roles they play in our lives. Whether you celebrate the day with gifts, a special meal or a card in the mail, locally-owned Bayview and Ralph’s Thriftway stores has what you need to make your Mom feel special.

Through May 10, all purchases of housewares items will earn 10% back in your ThrifteCard wallet during the Housewares Appreciation Sale. If your Mom likes to cook, you’ll find a great assortment of baking and cooking supplies ranging from cookware to chef’s tools. They have a large assortment of beautiful aprons in traditional and contemporary styles. You could slip a silicone spatula and a Microplane zester/grater in the apron pockets and wrap it up in a brightly colored linen towel instead of wrapping paper.

Also included in the Housewares Appreciation Sale are a variety of cutting boards, cheese boards and Boska cheese knives. Use a ribbon to tie a cheese knife to the cutting board. To take the cheese them a step further, add a box of Raincoast Crisps and a Bayview and Ralph’s Thriftway gift card so she can pick out her favorite cheese from the large selection of fine cheeses in both store’s deli.

For a mom who is always on the go, the Citrus Zinger water bottle comes in three different sizes with various lid options including a screw cap or a built-in straw. An integrated citrus juicer in the bottom compartment holds half of a lemon, lime or orange, and it infuses the flavor into the water you add in the top compartment. Tea Forte’s Kati tea infuser is perfect for brewing a quick cup of tea before heading out the door. It fits perfectly in a car drink holder and would make a nice gift paired with a tin of loose Tupelo Fig Honey tea or Chamomile Citron tea.
