SPSCC Seeking Submissions for Southwest Washington Juried Art Exhibition

Artists from through the Southwestern Washington region will have a new opportunity to showcase their works this summer at the Southwest Washington Juried Exhibition, hosted by The Gallery at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts. The show, which will begin on July 1, is now accepting entries. All entries must be received by May 15.

Southwest Washington artists working in all media are invited to submit works, and must be residents of Clark, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, Skamania, Thurston or Wahkiakum counties. Artists must submit an entry form along with images of up to three works. Art must have been created within the last three years, and artists must be 18-years-old or older. The exhibition will be judged by ArtsWA Art in Public Places Program Manager Michael Sweney. He currently serves on the Tacoma Arts Commission and the Tacoma Art Museum’s Collection Committee. Sweeney holds his Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Studio Art from Oberlin College.
