The Thurston County Fair’s annual Holiday Bazaar is your chance to shop local and give local this holiday season. Along with all the locally crafted treasures and treats, the Holiday Bazaar will have donation stations for the Thurston County Food Bank and for Community Youth Services so that you can spread a little holiday cheer and help your neighbors in need.
Holiday Bazaar shoppers have supported the Thurston County Food Bank for several years and have helped more than 41,000 of their Thurston County neighbors who visit the food bank each year from going hungry. New this year is a donation station for winter coats and clothing that will help keep many young Thurston County residents warm this winter. The winter coat and clothing donation station will benefit Community Youth Services and help the 4,000 young people they serve annually. Your donations to the Thurston County Food Bank and Community Youth Services are tax deductible.
The Holiday Bazaar will be on Friday, November 28 from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday, November 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
You can spread more of the holiday cheer by visiting all of the vendor booth with handcrafted gifts and goodies galore. This year’s Holiday Bazaar will feature more than 100 vendors in four buildings on the fairgrounds. The Holiday Bazaar is a fun event for the whole family, and free admission and free parking also make it affordable.
