Trick-or-treaters from the Saint Martin’s University and greater South Sound communities are invited to the Lacey campus to celebrate Halloween with university students on October 25 as part of the annual Halloween in the Halls festivities.
Families will first be welcomed by the Halloween Kids Club in the Trautman Union Building (TUB) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where they will enjoy complementary games, crafts and a lunch.
Following the Kids Club activities, families can make their way to the lobby of Spangler Hall for a trick-or-treating tour of the residence halls from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
“Our students love to hand out treats as trick-or-treaters come by their rooms,” says Heather Nicole Saladino, residence hall director. “This is a great way to celebrate Halloween with our local families – it’s warm, it’s dry and it’s fun!”
The first 200 kids will receive a free, reusable, Halloween bag. Costumes are strongly encouraged!
