A Rock’n’Roll Twelfth Night – Held Over Thru July 26

Held OverOlympia has spoken! The show that was brought back to the Harlequin stage by popular demand is now being extended by popular demand! The thirst for righteous Shakespearean rock simply cannot be quenched unless performances are added thru July 26. Tickets for the new shows are available now.

Harlequin Productions is producing their hit original musical, A Rock’n’Roll Twelfth Night, for the fourth time since its 1996 premier. In their rollicking version of the classic tale, Shakespeare’s characters bear a striking resemblance to rock icons. An Elvis-like Duke Orsino carries a burnin’ love for the beautiful and Madonna-like Olivia. John Lennon, Janis Joplin, Bob Marley, Johnny Rotten, and Little Richard, among others, also become involved in Shakespeare’s uproarious comedy. Featuring music by Bruce Whitney and lyrics by Scot Whitney, each of the thirty original songs are performed in the style of their respective rockstar crooner.

Serious Shakespeare. Serious Rock’n’Roll.
