Over the last decade, Boggs Inspection Services has been providing high quality home inspections throughout the South Sound. Owner Dwayne Boggs’ extensive experience in the field, coupled with his close connections in the construction and real estate industry, have led to steady growth for the local, small business throughout the last several years.
Boggs credits the business growth to his clear communication skills and honest, ethical business approach. In an economic downturn and slow-down in the housing industry, Boggs has continued to set the standard for excellence whether it’s a home pre-inspection or advice on fixing current home issues.
As Boggs Inspection Services has grown, the need for more inspectors in the field has arisen. Boggs welcomes Tom Hitchman to the team, Tom has lived most of his life here in Olympia and has spent the last 14 years in the construction industry. Tom spent four years working as a general contractor and has worked in cabinet and lumber sales for ten where he honed is excellent communication skills, key for a home inspector.
Tom used all the experience he gained in the field to build his own home in 2010, and brings the culmination of all these skills and experience to Boggs Inspection Services.
Tom loves living in the South Sound and is a part of the community here, raising two boys with his wife Cathy. “I enjoy golfing, sailing, motorcycling, and all that comes with owning 5 acres,” he explains. “I’m excited about working for Dwayne, and being a part of a fine company.”
