After speaking with Keller Williams employees, Dwayne Boggs (left), owner of Boggs Inspection Services, decided that Shauna Tryon was the ideal candidate to sponsor for enrollment in the Keller Williams BOLD Training Program.tor

Working in an industry dependent on positive referrals and a strong reputation, Shauna Tryon has both.

An agent for Keller Williams Realty in Olympia, Tryon’s dedication and strong work ethic has resonated with her co-workers and also throughout the local business community.

Not surprisingly, the nearly 20-year Olympia resident and mother of two continues to work towards advancing her career.  The next step in that advancement was to enroll in the Keller Williams BOLD (Business Objectives Leading by Design) Training Program.   Led by top Keller Williams agents from across the country, the seven-week course focuses on developing strategic and mental approaches within the real estate industry.

“A big part of the course is working on motivation and personal discipline.  It’s your motivation and mindset that are key in this business if you want to see results,” said Tryon. “BOLD focuses on those things and the other necessities in order be a go getter in the profession.”

Tryon has seen the program’s benefits first hand, as several of her co-workers have completed the course.

“We have multiple top sellers in this office who have gone through BOLD four times, five times…even six times,” she said. “It showed me (BOLD’s) importance towards constantly advancing and moving forward.”

Enrollment in BOLD, which will be held in Portland, Oregon and costs around $800, a steep price Tryon was attempting to cover.

“This is a huge opportunity for me, so I had the mindset to do whatever is necessary to take part in (BOLD),” Tryon added. “However, it’s a very large financial commitment, even without considering the travel.   I was looking into a lot of different options and then I heard some great news.”

That’s where Dwayne Boggs, owner of Boggs Inspection Services, stepped in.  Involved with real estate in the area since becoming an inspector eleven years ago, Boggs took the opportunity to help a member of the local business community and sponsored Tyron’s enrollment in BOLD.

“The real estate community has been great to me, and I thought this would be a way to give back,” he said.

In order to find the ideal candidate to sponsor, Boggs spoke to Keller Williams employees.  In those conversations, Tryon’s name kept popping up.

“I wanted it to be someone who would stay in the industry and has already had an impact in the community,” Boggs added.  “And she was the person whose name kept coming up.  She had the trust and the support of her co-workers, so it ended up being an easy decision.”

Hearing about the support from her co-workers and the sponsorship from Boggs was a special moment for Tryon.

“This is a reputation and referral business, so hearing good things about yourself is very fulfilling, motivational and reassuring,” she said. “Receiving that news, it was very, very big for me.”

Tryon is beyond thankful for Boggs support and believes such actions are vital for a strong, local economy.

“I can’t say enough about Dwayne and what this means for my professional career,” she said. “It’s a perfect example of him giving back to the community and to someone locally who is an up and comer in their profession.  He thought I would be the most valuable to the community with this money, and that’s something that nearly brings me to tears.”
