Saturday, October 5 will be the final Fall Secondhand Safari sale at the Thurston County Fairgrounds. Don’t miss this last autumn opportunity to clean out the clutter and make a tidy sum by reserving a booth at the special discounted price.

Covered spaces for the October 5 event are now available to anyone with gently used treasures to swap or sell for only $35—that’s $5 off the regular price. No uncovered outdoor booths area available for the October 5 event. Call the Thurston County Fair Office at (360) 786-5453 for details and to reserve your booth.

To help send off the final Fall Secondhand Safari, admission on October 5 will be only $1 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.—no $2 early bird price.  The Secondhand Safari will be on Saturday, October 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Set up for sellers will be on Friday, October 4 from noon to 10 p.m. The doors will be locked after set up Friday evening and security will be on-site until the event opens Saturday.

Representatives from community groups, non-profits, businesses, agencies and individuals working on sustainability issues are invited to sign up for an educational booth or display. Contact the Fair Office at (360) 786-5453 for details.

There will be plenty of treasure seekers and bargain hunters, with over 1,500 visitors and 100 vendors at past fall reuse fair events. Along with garage sale booths, the Secondhand Safari will also have educational booths, a free book and magazine exchange, entertainment, food, and more.
