Percival Landing Sculpture Exhibition To Rotate

New Sculpture to be installed the week of July 8

The 14 loaned sculptures on exhibition this past year along Percival Landing will be de-installed the week of June 10, 2013.  Most of the sculptures will be returned to their artists.  Windstar by Ross Matteson, was the recipient of the 2012 Peoples’ Choice Award and will move to its new location on the Port Plaza in July.  RING DANCE#2/CORE by Don Freas was purchased by the Olympia Downtown PBIA and will move to a downtown location in the next month.  Information about the sculptures and artist contact information is available at www.olympiawa.gov/plinth

A new set of sculpture will be installed on Percival Landing the week of July 8, 2013.  The public is invited to kick-off the new exhibition and participate in voting for the new Peoples’ Choice recipient at an event on Friday, July 26, at 5:30pm at Harbor House on Percival Landing, 325 Columbia St NW.
