“My Kind of Place,” the second annual Fine Art Postcard Exhibit at the Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery, will see its run come to a close at the special closing reception on Friday, Feb. 15. The closing reception, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the gallery, will be the final chance to bid in the silent auction. Bidding will officially end at 7 p.m. on Feb. 15.
Fifty-four local and regional artists submitted more than 200 artworks, each of which will be sold via the silent auction. Those works included wood cuts, mixed media collages, fabric, paint, photography, ceramics and more.
The Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts Gallery is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 4 p.m. and by appointment.
