The Thurston County Fair’s annual Holiday Bazaar is your chance to go local and give local this holiday season. The Holiday Bazaar features handmade gifts and goodies that support local farmers, artisans and crafters, along with a donation station for the Thurston County Food Bank. So whether your giving or receiving this holiday season, the Holiday Bazaar is your chance to support the local economy as well as local families in need.
The Holiday Bazaar will be on Friday, November 23 from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday, November 24 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There will be plenty of holiday shoppers searching for something special and unique that will make the perfect gift. The first Holiday Bazaar event in 2011 hosted over 100 vendors and nearly 5000 shoppers. This year’s event features Christmas carolers and a raffle on Friday, and a second raffle on Saturday. The Holiday Bazaar is a fun event for the whole family, and free admission also makes it affordable.
Shoppers at the 2012 Holiday Bazaar are also encouraged to spread the holiday cheer by bringing non-perishable food donations for the Thurston County Food Bank.
