The Fall Creek area of the Capitol Forest was the site for the first annual Capitol Forest Enduro Race on Saturday, Sept. 15.  Nearly 200 racers took part in the four stage event under the sunny blue skies, as mountain bikers cheered on one another while still displaying a competitive edge.  Using computer chips to monitor each racers time, race organizers put on a terrific event that fully displayed the camaraderie of the sport.

“I think it’s got the potential to be a traditional event,” said race promoter and director Trey Wilson. “This style of racing is perfect for the area, and the region.  This is really the future of the sport.
