Do you have a photo or know someone who has a photo for a name on The Washington State Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Olympia?
This Friday, The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation will be in Olympia, and the public is invited to bring pictures of their fallen friends and loved ones to be scanned.
Join Jan Scruggs, Founder and President of VVMF, the organization that build and manages the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall in Washington, DC, First Gentleman Mike Gregoire and WDVA director John E. Lee at 10:00 am in the Columbia room to honor Washington’s fallen Vietnam service members.
VVMF still needs to find photographs of 571 of Washington’s Hometown Heroes from the Vietnam War.
If you don’t have a photo yourself, spread the word. Ask family, friends, neighbors. Visit your local library to search for yearbooks. Ask at your church, or put a call for action in your hometown newspaper.
