Saturday July 16th: This Saturday kicks off Lacey’s Huntamer Park Outdoor Cinema Series. Every Saturday from now until August 13th the park will be showing a family friendly movie on the lawn! This week’s pick is, “How to Train Your Dragon,” a highly rated film that came out earlier this year. The movie is set in the mythical world of Viking dragon slayers where Hiccup, to his shame, is the only individual in the entire village that has not slain one of the mighty beasts. Looked down upon by his peers, Hiccup sets out to slay a dragon and prove that there is more to him than meets the eye. When he finally gets his chance however, the dragon turns out to be much more than he expected.

All of the films to be shown in Huntamer Park (7th Ave SE, Lacey, WA, 98501) begin at dusk and are free to attend. If you want to get there a little early, there are always great bands playing starting at 7PM.
