The “Disney Dazzle” concert will delight attendees as four choirs of 5-17 year olds deliver an upbeat show of familiar tunes.

Presented by Olympia Youth Chorus (OYC), Disney Dazzle will showcase popular songs from classic Disney movies to contemporary renditions. The event will be held on Sunday, May 22, at SPSCC’s Kenneth J. Minnaert Center for the Arts starting at 4 p.m.

Olympia Youth Chorus (OYC) is a nonprofit vocal music program serving young singers in the greater South Sound community, including Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, Yelm, Tenino, Rochester and Shelton.  In addition to local performances, OYC choirs have performed in England, Hawaii, San Francisco and New York’s Lincoln Center. Over 900 singers have participated in the program over the last 16 years.

Since its founding in 1995, OYC has been under the direction of well known educator and Artistic Director Cynthia Dinsmore.  Annually about 150 girls and boys (with unchanged voices) participate. Singers are from public and private schools, as well as home-schooled.

The concert is sponsored by Sunset Air, Inc., Olympia Federal Savings, GHB Insurance, Merrill Lynch, Coldwell Banker, Berschauer Phillips, Small to Tall Pediatric Dentistry, American Pump and Electric, Greene Realty Group, Fairchild Record Search, Andrew Kapust Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry, Olympia Vision Clinic, Lucky Eagle Casino, Olympia Pediatrics, and Russell Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students/seniors. For tickets call 360.753.8585 or order online at olytix.org.
