The 2011 Capital Food and Wine Festival is coming up on March 26. The event is being held at the Marcus Pavilion on the campus of Saint Martin’s University.
A large number of wineries (list) will be pouring, but more importantly some our local, South Sound favorites:

- Birchfield Winery
- Heymann Winery
- Classic Winemakers
- Marchetti Wines
- Scatter Creek
- Sovereign Cellars
- Walter Dacon
- Weatherwax Winery
- Widgeon Hill
- Westport Winery
The event is from 12-9pm. Those in the know, go earlier rather than later. This is a great way to get exposure to some of the great wines being produced here in the South Sound. There will also be a number of breweries (list) and restaurants (list) present.
