Capitol Forest Fall Creek Winter Trail Update

The trails in the Capitol Forest out of Fall Creek are in great condition. The amount of traffic on the trails today was much higher than usual for the winter. The high use of the trails could be due to the sub par skiing conditions and high freezing  levels.  Warmer temperatures of around 50 degrees were enjoyed in the Capitol Forest this weekend.

We saw no less than 12 groups of outdoor enthusiasts mountain bike riding, walking and trail running today in the rain. The trails are in great condition and we are looking forward to a sunny winter Capitol Forest mountain bike ride on the trails later this week.
