Christmas Cheer

Everyone wants to live in that friendly neighborhood where your neighbor has your back, your kids are best friends and dinner parties occur on a regular basis. Could there be a more opportune time to extend a little neighborhood friendliness than the holiday season? Here are a couple of simple ways to bring Christmas cheer to your neighborhood and make Thurston County a better place.

1. Take a box of cookies along with a card to the neighbors along with a note expressing you’re just down the street if they ever need a hand and give your name, address, and phone number.

2. Get some fresh cold air and clean up your street and sidewalks by picking up the debris from the recent storms.

3. Take Buddy the elf’s advice, “The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.” Get a group of friends together or go out as a family and sing Christmas carols.

Enjoy the season and make the most of it!
